i'm traveling to charleston the beginning of may and i was looking for a good fly fishing guide for an eight hour trip. any names would greatly be appreciated.

I'd offer that the best fly guide I know is JR Waits (www.fishcall.com). Book early. Key in Charleston is to try and catch a tailing tide in the day (> 6 feet)--not sure when the first one is. Unlike most, he handles the boat extremely well for fly fishers--has great gear too.
