How long do you keep crab meat?

Going through the freezer this a.m. for some crab meat to start the new year. :D Unfortunately I found 2 packs from 2005. :( Not sure how I missed them all this time but there they were. I use a vacuum bagger but it got me wondering how long folks tend to keep crab meat in the freezer?

Recently I found some vacuum packed crab meat that was from June or July 2003 that was still good. Normally I don't try to save it that long. It was hidden among other stuff.
One year in the freezer when vacuum packed should still be very good eating.

Recently found a small Tupperware container from 2 years ago. Still good and lumpy!

Wow Scotty, how often do you clean the freezer?
I usually freeze the bulk of my last trips in late October, and depending on the amount it will last to March with no problem. My wife likes crab so much it usually doesn't last any longer. Never had a bad bag using the vaccum sealer.
