Duane, good talking to you out there, we had 5 35 to40 lb. lost 2 at the boat and had about 5 or 6 misses. It was tough fishing early glad it finally calmed down for the run in. We left Rudde Inlet this morning at 3:30am for an easy run to the 800 line anything but. Started out at 25 knts. and ended up 4 hrs. later running 16 to 17 knts. when we reached the 800 line. Tough fishing 5 to 6 footers in anything, but our new 28' classic worked good we still need to fish it some to learn her. Had some mistakes due to new boat. We run 175 mi. and used 120 gal. of diesel. I thought that was very good due to conditions. Had a good day for first day fishing boat hope to learn her and get better.....................LEON

Leon

Glad to see the old 'Gabby Girl' still gets bloody. I know you'll be slaughtering them tuners for a long while to come in that boat. Great boat to have under you when the running gets tough. Enjoy I know we miss her already but a 35 CC will have to do.[grin]
