Fished 10/31/06 for Halloween tuna and it was all treats. Started at 0700 on the 650 line after a quick ride out in the smooth conditions . Picked up fish all morning as we trolled the 100 fathom curve north from the 650 to the 800. Mostly singles and doubles. All nice buff fish with the biggest over 60# and the smallest 38#. Best bite was around the 800 line where we finished our limit (12) at 1230. We had all surface bites but there were some guys picking up fish on the deep rig. The tuna were breaking the surface occassionally and they were chasing bluefish. Great day!

We were out there as well and it was total Tuna Mayham. We went 9 for 13 on 50+# YFT and 0 for 1 on wahoo. Saw a pretty show put on by a 150# blue marlin caught by a charter next to us. Tuna were boiling and skying everywhere for about a hour. Beautiful day in the gulf stream.

Nice work Mark. I almost gave you a call yesterday evening to see how things panned out. With the reports from the last couple days I figured you guys would get a limit or close to it... Sounds like you had a banner day..... With all the great reports I'm hoping I can make it out there soon....

Thanks guys. I forgot to mention that when we got back to the dock for fish cleaing, we discovered that two of our fish were 55# Big Eyes and not yellowfin. At that size its hard to tell.
Jason, I'll call if I go again next week.
TT, the boat will slam roll with those 250 EFI Mercs and the ride was great (pretty flat in the AM and a little chop in the PM). I passed everything out there at least once (running @ 42MPH cruise) and only used 100 gallons for the day.
