Boat: Reel Fancy. Crew, Joey, Jim, Jake, Billy, Doug & me.
Fished the awesome 75 degree clear blended water that runs from the 640-685.
We started @ the 670 & never really left. We got all we needed from 75-150 fathoms. The best bite however was just below from the 650-the 642. The problem was that the coast guard was there boarding vessels which takes up to 45 mins so we stayed put all by ourselves.
Acres apon acres of fat tunas feeding on the surface. All I can say is, it was absolutely INSANE!!!!!![excited][excited][excited]
Done by 11:00 Riding low with 18 Boscos & left them flat out snapping.
All you boys going tommoro, be prepared for world class tuna fishing!!![excited][grin][excited]
Gotta go back to work.[sad][sad] Have fun out there!!!!

Atta boy's getting a bit redundant there Bill. Thanks for the invite, sorry I couldn't make it. That looks like a very good time again! Water's starting to creep our way a bit. What's the northern most bite you heard of Monday?

Dave that would be us. 680. Today it will be much above that. It is steady pushing. Looks alot like the last one a couple weeks ago. Watch the Wahoos chomp the mono rigs off today.[grin]
One thing I noticed yesterday was the really big Tunas were marking down below Bonita schools out further around the Pilot whales in 150 fats. It took a little longer since we were getting 1,2 or 3 @ a time instead of full whams but the size made up for the wait + we didn't have to deal with getting boarded by the CG.
If it weren't for work, I would of gone again today & tomorrow. The conditions are that good & buy the looks of the current shot, getting better. Clear Blue/green currentless eddy water.

For you baseball fans, that's the 'Big Papi' treatment. [wink]
Nice catch guys, I'm just trying to block it out and not think about it. I wanted to quit my job Monday. Knew they would be snappin', no suspense to it, but still more fun than a barrell of monkeys[excited][excited][excited][excited]

Billy thanks again for one of the best fishing days ever. It was nice meeting new people and fishing with some veterans. Hope we can do it again soon.
Brian my ash chewing wasn’t near as bad as I expected for banging in at work you should have tried it. It only set me back one loin.
Becky I apologize for the long drive, I didn’t think you’d get that far down 17. before we met. Hope your feeling better.

Joey, your so cool... I appreciate you bringing him as far as you did... 2 1/2 hrs is better than 4 1/2!!!
I wish I could say I was feeling better... Just left the Doctor's office and to add to the feeling crappy I also have a double ear infection... [sad][sad][sad] This too shall pass...
Thanks for the well wishes!!!

Bill,
I just want to say Thanks Again for the invite and hospitality. This was my first experience with that class of tuna and it was just unreal. I was trying to figure out how to be down there again tomorrow. [grin] I'll take some of the heat for the apparel, I can swim, just not 30 nautical miles. [wink] Becky, sorry to hear you are sick, that really stinks, didn't get to fish and got sick on top of it. At least the fish liked the witches you tied. It was great meeting and fishing with all of you, the crew was like a well oiled machine. What I couldn't believe was that not one tuna that came to the boat got away, not a single one, just unreal!!!
