Who has fished offshore around Crooked Island in the Bahamas?

Hey Gang,

We are headed back down to the Bahamas in a week to do some bonefishing, but we are also going to hit the offshore sceen around Crooked Island. We have heard the fishing on the reef and surrounding area is hot. Anyone else fished down there in that area?

My older brother spent a week down there with Carter (Andrews) and slayed the wahoo. Wish I could give you more info.
Not sure where you're staying, but he said the bugs on the island sucked him dry. Bring some OFF!

Thanks for the information. We are actaully staying at Carter's place. I will confirm that the bugs are UNREAL on the island. We fish Alkins Island for a week about two years ago and the bugs literally ate us alive.

We are staying on land for this trip, but plan to bring my friend Tom M's 74' ship down there either later this year or early spring.

I hope we smoke some Wahoo!
