i hear ya, DC Ben and I were thinking of the run, but kinda freaks me out. 40-50 knots is not a joke, a few hours swing one way could be bad, mkay......

I agree Tommy- Exploring the Norfolk with no shot, no buddy boat and that forecast is making me rig my trout rods. Maybe Tuesday.

yeah, the sat shots conveniently stop at 20 fathoms just to add to the mystery, don't they[wink]

Yup, in no mood to risk another pummelling if that window narrows even further or the weathermen are(say it ain't so) wrong. Halloween drinking will have to do.

tommorow out of OI is going to be a blood bath. Good luck all and get the hell out of their if it starts picking up. I've been in the middle of 0-40 kts in an hour or so and it sucked. The last 10 miles took us 3 hours. We were going 12 kts and our SOG was like 3 kts.

And it's 1 thing to go in w/water temps in the 70's versus mid-60's. Your time alive is much different. I'll take my sons new ride for a spin...introducing the 'Pinto'...the new crabber!!

This would be the 'oh crap' moment, at least at the VA Beach bouy. Love the barometric and wind graphs.
